Ijen Crater: The Blue Fire & Acid Lake Expedition
Seeing the sunrise on a volcano is a “bucket list” experience that stays with you forever. Ijen Crater, located in the heart of East Java, offers an adventure unlike any other on Earth.
Known for the world’s largest highly acidic crater lake with its stunning turquoise waters, Ijen is also one of the only two places on the planet where you can witness the legendary Blue Fire—a rare natural phenomenon where sulfuric gases ignite into electric blue flames under the starlit sky.
